Privacy Policy

We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the Service. Your study progress lives on your device by default and is only synced if you sign in.

What we collect

Account email — if you sign in, to authenticate you and sync your progress across devices.
Study progress — your quiz/flashcard/exam history, settings, and notes. Stored locally in your browser; also stored in our database only if you sign in to sync.
Payment information — if you subscribe, payments are handled by Stripe. We receive your subscription status and a customer identifier, but never your full card number.
Contact details — if you provide them (for example when we ask for an email to continue practicing for free), we collect your email, first name, and optionally your phone number, along with whether you opted in to marketing. You can decline marketing and still use the free features.
Usage analytics — anonymous, aggregate usage events (such as opening the app or completing a quiz) keyed to a random device identifier, and your account email if you are signed in. We use these to understand engagement and improve the Service. We never send your question responses, notes, or any health information in analytics.
Feedback — if you use the in-app "Send feedback" form, we store your message (and your email if you are signed in) so we can read it and, if you asked, reply.
We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13, and the Service is not directed to them.

How we use it

To operate and improve the Service: authenticate you, sync and back up your progress, provide paid features to subscribers, respond to support requests, understand engagement, and maintain security. If you opt in, we may email you study tips and product updates; every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and we honor opt-outs. We do not sell your personal information.

Service providers

Supabase — authentication and database (account email and synced progress).
Stripe — payment processing and subscription management.
Vercel — website hosting and delivery.
Resend — delivery of sign-in (magic link) and account emails.

These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments.

Local storage & cookies

The app stores your progress and preferences in your browser's local storage so it works offline. If you sign in, a session token is stored to keep you logged in. We do not use third‑party advertising cookies.

Your choices

Export a full backup of your data anytime from Settings.
Delete everything yourself — Settings → "Delete account & data" permanently erases your account, synced progress, saved contact details, usage analytics, and feedback from this device and our servers. "Start over" clears just the data on this device.
Marketing — decline marketing when asked, or unsubscribe from any email; you can still use the free features.
Questions or requests — email us and we will honor applicable data‑protection rights (access, correction, deletion).

Data retention

We keep account and subscription data while your account is active and as needed for legal, tax, and accounting purposes, then delete or anonymize it.
